In the care of fruit trees, thinning of branches is of great importance, which subsequently affects the yield of fruit trees, as well as the quality of the fruit. When thinning small branches, the quality of the crop improves. All overgrowing branches should be cut – they are all superfluous and will only cast a shadow on the fruit branches that give the crop. In addition, it should be assessed whether there are dry or diseased branches, whether the branches intersect (if they intersect, it should be assessed which should be removed from the branches more correctly). If the tree had diseased branches, then after cutting it is advisable to burn them, and not leave them in the garden.
Fruit trees are looked after in early spring or late fall. In spring, this is done before the onset of flowering, and in autumn – after the leaves have completely fallen. After trimming branches, it is recommended to cover all wounds with tree-wound paint.
“Gardens” provides services for the fruiting bushes and trees crowns formation, processing trees from fungal diseases and insects. In addition, we provide advice on fruit tree care.
